passion2action is proud to join the 50-30 Challenge, making a commitment to increase the representation and inclusion of diverse groups within our non-profit organization.

The 50-30 Challenge is an initiative of the Government of Canada developed in collaboration with diversity organizations across the country that have long advocated to improve access for racialized persons, people who identify as LGBTQ2, people living with disabilities, as well as First Nations, Inuit and Métis to positions of influence on boards and in senior leadership roles.

The challenge encourages participating businesses, charities, and non-profits to increase the representation and inclusion of diverse groups within their organizations with two key goals:

  • Gender parity (“50%”) on Boards and in senior leadership roles; and
  • Significant representation (“30%”) of other under-represented groups on Boards and in senior leadership roles

passion2action recognizes and affirms the importance of ensuring that our governance and leadership reflects the incredible diversity of young people in Saskatchewan that we aim to serve.

We are proud of the work already done to build passion2action as an inclusive organization, but acknowledge that there is still much more work to do. By joining the 50-30 Challenge, we are making a commitment to continue the important task of accelerating existing diversity actions and adopting further practices to improve equity.
