passion2action is excited to launch an innovative, enhanced microgrant program to support Saskatchewan youth in taking action on their passions.
passion2action PROJECTS is a project-based, comprehensive microgrant and leadership development program for young people ages twelve to twenty-four from throughout Saskatchewan. Based on a model for community-engaged learning, the program will facilitate leadership and skills development as well as mentorship and networking opportunities within the context of a community service project.
passion2action PROJECTS is an opportunity for personal growth and leadership development as young people work on a service project and make a tangible impact in their communities.
Over the course of the five-month program running from January 2022 to May 2022, the first passion2action PROJECTS cohort will have access to project support and mentorship, leadership development workshops, and networking opportunities. While the dollars and cents will help to bring the projects to life — thanks to our friends at the Crown Investments Corporation of Saskatchewan — passion2action PROJECTS is focused on the journey from idea to implementation and all of the important skills that can be gained along the way.
Applications to be part of the first passion2action PROJECTS cohort are now open and are due by Friday, December 17.
The application form and additional information about the program can be found here.
