Frequently Asked Questions

Who can apply to be part of the PROJECTS Cohort?

Teams of youth between the ages of 14 and 22 from throughout Saskatchewan are invited to apply to be part of the passion2action PROJECTS Cohort.

What is the approximate time commitment?

To successfully organize your community service project and participate in biweekly passion2action PROJECTS sessions, we estimate a time commitment of about 2 hours / week throughout the course of the program.

Note that the third passion2action PROJECTS cohort will run from January to May 2025.

Do we need to have a project idea?

The application form asks you to provide some initial ideas for potential community service projects, but we do not expect you to have a project idea fully developed. We want to see that you are passionate about supporting the community and have thought about how your team can make an impact.

Can I apply individually?

We encourage you to join together with peers and apply as part of a ‘Project Team’ comprised of three or more youth. Collaborating with others will help make your community service project attainable and will offer a more meaningful experience. While the form only includes space for listing five team members, note that project teams may be larger.

When are the applications due?

Applications to be part of the third PROJECTS cohort will open in late fall 2024. Stay tuned!
