Frequently Asked Questions
Teams of youth between the ages of 18 and 35 from throughout Saskatchewan are invited to apply to be part of the passion2action PROJECTS Cohort.
To successfully organize your community service project and participate in biweekly passion2action PROJECTS sessions, we estimate a time commitment of about 2 hours / week throughout the course of the program.
The application form asks you to provide some initial ideas for potential community service projects, but we do not expect you to have a project idea fully developed. We want to see that you are passionate about supporting the community and have thought about how your team can make an impact.
We encourage you to join together with peers and apply as part of a ‘Project Team’ comprised of three or more youth. Collaborating with others will help make your community service project attainable and will offer a more meaningful experience. While the form only includes space for listing five team members, note that project teams may be larger.
Applications are now being accepted for the Global Goals Youth Activation partnership with SCIC to be part of the third PROJECTS cohort. Applications for this special opportunity are due on October 17.
